Here is what I had on my CJ5 when I still owned it. It took a lot of abuse.

I’d imagine tubing will kink in a pipe bender. 1.5” sch 40 should be fine for the crossmember. If I did it again using pipe, I’d use 1” or 1.25” sch 40.

...or the Harbor Freight 'Kinker' as I've often heard it called.

We have serpentine heating coils made to heat our Parkerizing tanks. We use schedule 80 1" stainless steel pipe and have it bent on a 6" center. The shop that makes them for me uses sand filling the pipe, before bending, to avoid kinking. We need to flush the coils to remove the little bit of sand that the fab shop leaves (sand would be bad in our recirculating boiler).

Here’s the one I built for the 3b many years ago. It’s thin wall tubing, just cut and welded. It mounts to the frame with angle iron. I wanted a rigid mount that didn’t hang much lower than the T18. My plan was to wrap it in skid plate, but I never got around to it.

The trans mount has 4 tabs that bolt to 2 poly bushings that are inside the sections of round tubing.

The t-case is a D20 from ? that has a mount like a commando. I ran a bolt through it and used another poly bushing.

In order to get the best "High and Tight" install on my T-18 I build my own cross member out of 1"x2" box tube with an integrated transfer case oil pan skid plate. The transmission mounts are sleeved so the bolts are recessed. I welded a piece of angle to the front for deflection.
Round tube is sexier..... but square is much more convenient to work with.

Just send me one. I can install my transmission and it can sit on a jackstand for a week no problem.

Couldn't I weld PIPE to the DOM bushing Tube? I figured this was just the parts to build the mount that connects to the frame and I would build the crossmember out of pipe????

Yes. My bad. I was thinking of the other kits they sell with plugs to fit in tubing.

    Drivers side photo.
The tube crossmember is not perpendicular with the frame rails. It’s more rearward on the drivers side so the transmission mount sits closer to the tube.
