Hi, I need to repair the rear left (and probably the right as well) horn on my 62 CJ5 frame, since is pretty much busted. Including replacing the spring mount. Is there a place that would sale those frame sections for repair? I have not being able to find anything for the early frames. I would like to have something like that before I start hacking and welding my own pieces into the frame. Thanks! 20200531_115158_copy_1032x774[1].jpg

I would buy a new channel from a steel shop. Then take measurements for the existing holes in the frame and spring hanger. The other rear frame rail has the same dimensions. Cut the rail where it is bad and weld in the new channel and spring hanger.

I used 2"x4"x.120" tubing. Worked real well.

There have been a couple used front and rear frame sections offered on eBay. I'll try to see if I can find any.
I've been watching them as I could use a section of the left frame at the area just below the firewall at the (rear) front spring bracket.

Alex, try eBay item #2930 4219 2059. They are from an A1 and a little rough, but they would get the job done, plus, the A1 boxes the front horns.
