    Excellent point of course and that's part of why I brought up the insurance guy, they just aren't safe and never really will be. But my Jeep isn't likely to be less safe than a ski trip so if one looks at it as a sport rather than safe, reliable transportation it's more fair. I've seen some ROPS so massive I was convinced it increased the likelihood of needing it.
    It's been a long time since I've seen reference to a boffin.

    Here is another thought... Where bicycle helmets are mandatory, the accident/injury rate goes UP.

    I been driving Jeeps over fifty years, most without roll bars, and never rolled one yet. Doesn't prove anything, I know. (And an example of "survivorship bias!")
