It has been over 20 yrs since I installed a 4 core radiator in the Jeep. In preparing to leave, I have had several problems, the worse of which is the radiator is leaking approx, in the center 4" below the cap.
I can try to find it and solder, or get a new one, but I have noticed only aluminum radiators are available. Has anyone used an aluminum radiator, are they better or worse?

My VW had a plastic/aluminum radiator from the factory. Lasted about 20 years, and now I'm running a factory-style replacement. My J20 radiator has been replaced with a Spectra Premium plastic and aluminum radiator. Fit perfect and keeps it cool, longevity TBD. Aluminum hot rod radiator from an eBay seller was supposed to fit, and did not. CJ-6 is running a Spectra OEM replacement bought when they were still brass copper and steel. Still going fine. J10 was re-cored at a local shop about a decade ago (not cheap) and still going strong.
