Pertronix Ignitor For Vacum Advance Autolite?

I have a vacuum advance IAT 4024 distributor on an F134 motor in a 1958 model. Pertronix says they don't offer an ignitor for this distributor. I've searched all the threads here and some said they were working on a way to use the ignitor with this distributor. Does anyone have a solution? Also, can I just swap out a distributor that they do offer a kit for? And has anyone bought one of the no name complete electronic distributors from one of the parts vendors? Looks like they are all carrying the same unit. They aren't priced much more than the ignitor alone.

 

Many of the guys have gotten rid of the Prestolite distributors because of not being able to go electronic kit. No problem going to a diff dist for the 134 that is electronic. Many members here have made the shift.
