I'm sure this has been covered 100 times over but I cant seem to find what I'm looking for. Rebuilding my 1960 CJ5 with an F134 engine. Recently purchased a walcks wiring harness and trying to run the harness like the factory did. Can anyone give me tips on how the rear harness runs down the frame rail? Specifically if you have a picture that would be great. So far what Ive found is the harness pops out by the master cylinder to connect into the brake switch. From there it enters the frame and clips to the bottom frame rail running back to the rear cross member. Once I hit the cross member did the factory run under or over it? How does it distribute the wires to each tail light from there?

I am not sure how the factory did it, but I ran mine down the left frame rail to the back, and across the back of the tub to the right light. I have a Tux, so I had to run a license plate light wire out at the middle for license plate in the middle of the tailgate. I used trailer flat four conductor trailer wire to wire my rear lights so the colors would be the same as a trailer. Green = right brake light, Yellow = left brake light, Brown= Tail lights, White = Ground wire. Hope this helps, Good Luck

It goes behind the MC bracket and along the frame rail. There are special clips that keep it in place. It runs along the bottom of the rear crossmember. If no one has pictures, I can try to take some of my original '56.

There should be a hole through the rear(ish) crossmember & v brace for the wire to pass through so it doesn't hang below.
