Flywheel ?

    RATTYFLATTY I think you need a little more throttle

    I have always assumed they are interchangeable between the 232 and 258. But the knowledge here is to great to not ask for the truth.

    Reason being I'm helping a buddy convert a postal to 4wd that has a 232 in it and all I have lying around is a 258 flywheel.

    Yes, both the same. The AMC inline 6s are neutral balanced (internally balanced), so the flywheel is just a big spinning disk with no contribution to the engine balance. I think that's typical of inline 6s.
