In the process of rotating my rear axle to accommodate the 2in lift recently, and also pack the outer bearings, I have found this.

I'm willing to replace these parts in this Trac lok (I think). I am not doing any good finding parts.
    Can anyone recommend a vendor.
    Thanks

    jpflat2a what's that noise?

The Jeep parts number for the spider gear kit was 994344 for Trac Lok.
Or try Border Parts in San Diego
Somewhere down the line if I recall, they changed the case and how the spider gears and or shaft are retained.
    Bolt/screw vs c-clips.

Nickmil would be an excellent source. He told me the other day Richard from R&p 4wd still had an active phone number. He may be able to help you along.

I thought his name was John.. And he sold out to a new guy. That was a great place. Did a lot of business with em.

Richard and Paul were the original . Richard retired and sold most of his share to John. The rest I suppose is none of my business. I did as well though, all of the major components came from John, axles, high steer, disc's , even bought the t18 and d20 from them. It's very sad they're basically done.

They are not basically done. Reopened under the name R&P Custom Jeeps. Richard is still running it with the same contact info. He’s still doing brake conversions, dual reservoir m/c kits, Dana 44’s and 60’s, etc. etc.

To the op, try Richard at 503-557-8911 for parts. Check the case where the pinion shaft goes through for wear. Common for the shaft to be loose there. If it is wobbly at all it’s junk.

If you go to R&P Custom Jeeps site, and click on more product info you get some Chinese garblygoop or at least I do.

Not surprising. R&P Custom Jeeps doesn’t have a website. The old R&P 4 WD Parts Inc. website is still on the web sort of. Richard does NOT have access to the info to shut down the old website and he is NOT tech savvy when it comes to web stuff. The Web access info was sold to John Vahey when the business sold to him. Richard had to go through litigation just to get legal access to his own building and inventory when things went south.

If you wish to contact R&P you MUST e-mail Richard or call him. He is a one man shop and if you call but don’t respond he will move on. He gets tons of robocalls thanks to previous events so if you call and he answers but gets no response he hangs up. Not because he doesn’t want your business or wants to help but he doesn’t have time to sit on a phone and get no response. I still go to lunch with him about once a week, do occasional side work for him, and help him at the swap meets so have a good idea what is going on. I was a fly on the wall when the whole business thing went south with John Vahey. I saw the writing on the wall and retired from there right before it happened.

I just sold Chassey99 some extra D44 Trac Loc parts.
Maybe he will sell you a new or good used gear set.
