This video of the very nice 1955 CJ-5 in Omix-Ada's collection has some good shots of the F134 engine compartment starting at 2:05. The engine bay has been restored, but it appears to be an accurate restoration AFAIK:

I may be nit-picking but wrong parking lights, wrong speedo, something funny with the driver's side firewall, key start...

That just goes to show you how much (i.e. how little) I know! :(

I have a '67, but am far from an expert on the details of the earlier CJs.

The firewall is missing the cutouts and cover plate where the heater would go. Pretty sure 55 would have had, but maybe not. The speedo is that Omix replacement I think. My 58 does not have the 'locking' toolbox. It just drops down, maybe an earlier thing. Yes parking lights should be clear glass. The color came much later. I also noticed the oil bath was painted grey with black on the embossed 'oil fill line'. I thought they were always black, but that grey with the black wording does make it much easier to read. I kind of like that. It does not look like an exact 55 restoration, but which of us hasn't made some changes. As for an 'exact' engine bay pic the OP asked for, I would not trust it as gospel.

Not nit-picking at all, as soon as I saw the picture the amber lenses stuck out like a sore thumb. You'd think a company that sells Jeep parts could get a resto correct.

I believe the lenses should also be the larger version.

I could be wrong, have been before, but I think the larger started in the 60's. In 55 they were the small one and glass.

In 55 they were small, I believe '59-ish they got smaller, early 60's grew a bit then got large ~ '67 or so.

This is what I meant, the first years were the little bit larger version of the clear glass ones.

I would get that Solex POS out of there in a heartbeat. Missing fan shroud too.

Should the w/s frame be black? I think so...
