If anyone needs the milling done to some Walcks tabs, I will do it for return postage. (insured?)

I had not seen those. They look just like the Walcks tabs. I will call and find out the thickness.

I just called the above supplier and his tabs are from Walcks and are .0735 thick. Nice fellow.

I called Carl at Walcks today and explained the problem. He said he talked to a guy a few days ago and then he went and found an old one and verified his new ones are about twice as thick. He is having more made that are correct thickness and expects to have them in a month. Then he will replace the 2 sets I bought. This is why I buy from Carl, if there is a problem, he handles it. They continue to get my business.

Also why I do business with them. They are the best I have dealt with for new stuff. Midwest Willys for used parts

I received 1 set of replacements tabs from Carl today. They measure .055 and match what is on my Wagon.

Might check back with Warn as well. They needed to start manufacturing them for Roxor who apparently has been having bolt loosening issues. They “borrowed” some factory tabs that have been sitting on the shelf for 20 years from no other than Richard Imholt (one of the original owners of R&P 4WDParts Inc). Apparently they have been combing the country for them and have been unable to find them until a retired engineer suggest they contact Richard. At one time R&P was the largest Warn stocking full float and axle stocking warehouse in the country. I worked for them back then.
Apparently Warn didn’t have line drawings of their own product and had to find an original set to reproduce. He loaned them some so they should be making originals soon if not already.
