Bds Lift Spring Screwup?

Just noticed this when I put them up on the table. All the others are fine just this one on only one end on the spring. I’m am largely inexperienced in this so I don’t know if this is a big problem or not. These are brand new and have never been installed.

 

What does the other end look like? Is the spring warped? or maybe just fanned in the pack a little?

If warped, I’d be making a phone call.

Do I have to send the whole kit back or will they just send me a new spring?

Mine were all the same. I’d get a replacement.

 

Call BDS and talk. Send the tech a photo. I broke a BDS spring. They sent a new one to a dealer, and I swapped. No cost to me.

 

Just a little update I sent an email describing my problem to the tech with photos and he said to try to loosen the center pin and the spring clamps to try and correct the problem. I was fairly certain that the spring is warped and the wouldn’t fix it(which it didn’t). So I sent another email saying that it didn’t work and that I think the spring is warped.
Have not gotten a reply yet.

From your pic, that one spring is definitely odd.
