T90 Leak After Rebuild

    My Jeep was jumping out of 2nd gear, so had the local transmission shop rebuild it using the Novak rebuild kit. Works like new now but noticed a lot of oil leaking out of the bell housing. I'll need to take it back. Any idea on what's gone wrong?

    Two possibilities: The T-90 has a felt seal on the front input shaft/housing, later transmissions like the T14 had an actual oil seal. The other possibility is they failed to put some sealant on the cluster gear pin where it seats in the front of the case. There was a thread somewhere on here with good pictures of this, I will try to find it.
