Smaller Steering Wheel? 15" ?

With the power steering working perfectly I'd love to gain "belly room". I'm really a fan of the stock look. Any suggestions for a 15" steering wheel?

Should we ask for a photo of the belly? Might help to better inform our advice.

I try to keep it under control but come the fall when I stop cycling a couple hundred miles per week it gets away from me.

Cycling a couple hunnerd a week and needing belly room? Doesnt compute.

So that I may add some value to your query, most of those aftermarket wheels are smaller but dished so they also move back a few inches. Add to that an adapter plate and they can create a whole new fitment issue.

Unless you've got power steering you'll be Very VERY Sorry. :(

A slightly smaller wheel of similar appearance would be very popular, I think. I am aware of no such wheel. If I had a junker wheel I know how I'd try to make it, though.

Did you already do a wheelhouse notch?

Leather wrap, or wrap in varnished cord like the hand rails on Navy ships. Bedliner it if bragging on Pirate 4x4 forum

Is the steering column at the stock angle? Can you lower the point at which the column passes through the floor? If you have a collapsible steering shaft you may be able to extend it so you can rotate the column upward. The Jeep looks great - I would hate to see the bus wheel go.

    If it works, it works!

Kinda assumed he had one - seeing how much exposed seat slider there is in the pic.

I’m going to keep mine as is unless there is a very similar replacement. I like the look as well.

Those are similar. Any idea if it would “bolt on”?
