Thanks Roy, I’d love to go cruisin’! If I ever make it to the opposite coast (and a little more North) I’ll be sure to look you up! Dave (Wheelie) is about 30 mins from me, I’d love to meet up with him sometime and talk Jeep. All the people around here that have old Jeeps have either run them into the ground or are military like you said. Or CJ2A’s and CJ5’s painted OD to look military, just saw one yesterday. Imposters!

Got in my new 4* caster shims to get my caster set just right in the front end. Now to just find the time to tear my leaf packs back apart.

 

I'm Only ~ 200 Milles from you.... But my ' Rosie" is a 1975....... Does She count as an old Jeep ?
( Would still Like to meet up with you, sometime..... I did own a 1969 CJ5 many years back , LoL )

Changed out my gear oil today. Glad I did, it was pretty brown/muddy!





Good news, everything looked good! I also verified I have 4.27 gears (47 ring teeth and 11 pinion teeth)

 

So my thread is wrecked thanks to TinyPic so I guess I’ll be spending some time fixing it back up. In the meantime, Millenium Falcon organized a great trail run last weekend, check out my YouTube channel to see the footage!

Hey all! Hope everyone is doing well. Kinda backed off a bit on here and got bummed out about TinyPic closing (how else do all of you upload pics?) and crashing my thread! I’ll try and fix it up slowly, because I know we all love pictures! Anyway, quick update: I installed an OVERDRIVE! Purchased it from Carl over at Walcks 4WD. I’ll be sure to post up more about it but just took the maiden drive tonight and WHAT A HUGE IMPROVEMENT for my little F-head! Here’s a few pics.
