Quick Question On Factory Bump Stop Hardware

Things are coming together and hopefully I won't have too many questions like this.

Do the bolts that hold these brackets on use lock washers or anything like that? Mine on both sides were attached by only bolts, which seems odd but is that factory?

It's the bump stops for the front end, but further back, the ones that contact the springs.

Did you take them off? The book shows self-tapping screws, no washers. I'd presume that the interference fit would lock them in place.

    That's what I remember also.

Awesome, thank you guys. Its probably funny for me to worry about these fine details when its not a perfect restoration  I suppose its easy enough to do these little things right/factory though so why not.

Looks like my first post broke one of the rules and I should have searched better! I just posted a question about these, wondering if I could take them off. Seems like such an odd place for a bump stop, plus there is already one on the frame right above the axle!

Welcome from Boston! Not a problem starting a new thread with a related question. Replying to an existing thread with a different question, even if it's related to the original question, is called a thread "hijack" and not encouraged. The mods will typically split off a response like that into its own thread with a descriptive title.
