Front Hub Locks, Loose Again?

    I have always used the original Warn lock tabs under the bolts and have never had issues with loosening.

    I got some long grade 5 bolts. Thread them in all the way. Might have to thread them a bit more to get them all the way in. and cut off and thread the ends to length. The first hub i did with grade 8 but it was too hard to thread them straight. Regular split washers and nylock nuts.

    Those ARP 8740 bolts are just about twice as strong as Grade 5.

    Thanks again for suggestions. I’m getting new hubs to address the wallering out. My problem has always been the rear full-float hubs…my fronts have been hassle free.

    I know, $2 seems high for a washer, but still $25 is cheaper than a mangled hub.
