How To Remove Heater?

    Which bolts hold the heater on? Mine is not hooked up and it’s time to remove it and sell the heater and the controls.

    The bolts around the heater box on the firewall in the engine bay (right in front of driver). The engine bay heater core box and the fan/plenum assembly (inside under the dash) are sandwiched together at the firewall and held together/in place by those bolts around the perimeter.

    **edit** - Just saw yours is a 74. It may be different for the later models, my comment applies to the earlier CJ's.

    Intermediate has several studs that poke through firewall and are nutted on engine side.
