    Strike 1!
After Fabing up the simplest ,easiest, (found in junk pile off some kind AMC ),bracket I had on hand, I find it hangs Too low?
After messing round with tape measure under hood, looks like I can go pas side or top?
May have to remove temperarry coli mount, and reroute rad hose.
It needs to be in front of distributor or in front of head( theirs a factory Saginaw pump mount that bolts on front of head, need to save this space, already got a power box(No hoses).
Back to the drawing bord(and junk pile),lol.

Alt (A GM 3 wire) ,came out of field ,off a car not ran in 10 years,
These units are tough, taking bets on whether it charges or not?

I'd . Like to wish a Happy New Year to all!
My new years resolution more open minded, less bragging ,and not think I know it all!
I'd also like to start the new year off saying, Damn, I do Good Work! LOL.
Let's see if any uall jeep experts recognize the rear alt brace(blue tape)?
Might get too much brandy tonight and run it open header?
Seems lime just last week, graduating high school 1976!
    Man, how stuff has changed?

Still seemed fat, just off idle, not squirt .
    Got to thinking bout pcv.
Had a 1/4 pipe thread port on intake, used an 3/8 barb hose adapter.
Found pcv valve off a 232 amc Inline 6.
It did lean it some, still not perfect but big improvement.
    Plugs beginning to tan up?
Also took a coil or 2 off the power valve spring.
Enlarged air bleeds just a hair!
Somewhere in my mess is a Toyota dirt track PS pump, a friend gave me, gotta try to locate and fab mounts before I start trans hook up?

T-90 with short plate adapter due to engine length?

I hope short adapt will work?
This part of build, I'm counting on you all to help with.
I've never put a tranny where it didn't belong?
Does my 134, t90, have the long or short input?
Does someone make a GM bell, that bolts to t90 without any adpt.?
    Thanks.

I’ve never seen a t90 bolt directly to a sbc bell housing. I think most adapters use the long input shaft. I saw an adapter from Novak (g9n) that was compact but you have to use a certain clutch disc.

You should have the short input shaft t90.

It will all depend on the pilot bushing. There was a (9.25" ?)heavy duty clutch for the 134. If they drill sbc bells for Ford patterns why not put a collar on the nose to align the shaft then drill the bell as needed.
My long adapter with the Transmission moved 1" to the passenger puts the bell as close as I care to the firewall. My sump is flush with the bottom of the bell so I don't think you will have much room to go lower.
Another concern will be the jeep throwout bearing and the fork to move it.
