Well I guess it’s time to start a build thread on the 67. I call it Scrap Iron because that’s what previous owners used to hold it together (& probably what I’ll use to rebuild it). We’ll start with getting it in the shop(basement).
    Wish me luck.

    Hood, grill/radiator out
I’ve actually been spending most my time getting a couple junk tires to hold air enough to roll it around the shop.

It is your Jeep but the absolutely worst thing you can ever do to a new to you Jeep is blow it into pieces. They virtually never get put back together. Then a guy like me comes over and pays you pennies on the dollar to take the whole mess off of your hands. Good luck.

Well I'm all in, love to watch a full tear down and rebuild. And if nothing else, I love seeing people pay pennies on the dollar for stuff if it never comes together. Win/win. Looking forward to your build FD (y)

    You can do it!

BTW...post title says 65, but 67 in the first post...I am guessing 67 due to the Dauntless with original motor mounts?

    Either way, I'm in... :watch:

Sometimes things are too far gone to do anything but tear it apart and start over. Good luck sir!

We’re getting close to removing the tub. Work on the CJ slowed down due to camping break and working on wife’s chicken coop.

From down here it looks like the bones are all there and are reasonably good.

    Good luck.

Love those old lockers in the background. Those are great for storage.

Thanks. They came from a local high school that was getting rid of their “old junk”. Everything (small enough to fit) that has come off the CJ is labeled and stored in the lockers.

Definitely a project............mark / label everything.......try to box it up so it doesn't get lost............and proceed.....................I'm really looking at the truss's in the ceiling?........quite the span.......and must put the structure above quite high?

I found zip lock bags with the location that the bolts / part comes from helped a lot.
