Taking it to the Gurus again . Does anyone know if Mutt wheels will fit my 59 early cj5 ? Mainly center hole , and bolt circle . Can get a good deal on a set , and would like to make sure first . Thanks

Bolt pattern is the same, but they would look all wrong, IMHO.

The M151 Mutt has the same bolt circle and center hole as our Jeeps. There are some front lockouts that have a 4" diameter, so measure, but I think the M151 hubs have a 1 1/8" center hole.
The backspace of the rims between the M151 and a CJ are significantly different, with the M151 having the greater dimension. Though M151 rims will bolt on to a CJ, the track will be narrowed by 4 or more inches. You will also likely get severe tire rubbing in the inside rear fender wells with axle articulation, and rubbing on the front leaf springs when near the steering locks.
Don't use these rims by choice! The tires from a M151 (if thats what you are after) can be mounted on appropriate CJ rims.

I do understand about the look , would be using them for a set of winter tires .
Follow up question ; would the offset have negative effect ? Like hitting inside
rear wheel wells , or in front when turning ? Don't get me wrong , if they're not
going to work , I don't want them . Just was a really good deal for a set of 6 in
mint condition . Again , Thanks

Donny , thanks for explaining , our posts just missed each other . I will pass on these .
That's why I go to this forum when I'm unsure . There literally are hundreds of years of experience
on here that I don't have . Three years into this project , and I have learned that it will
never be truly "done" , and that I still have a lot to learn . The shared Knowledge is appreciated .
