What are the psi numbers from an OEM fuel pump output to carb?

    134? Should be in the FSM ... it is in the later TSMs.

    Carter YF asks for 2.5 to 3.75 psi as I recall.

    The Carter 596S is the same. From the 1965 FSM.

    Thanks to all replies, very helpful. Changing to an alternator, high torque starter, and now electric fuel pressure..... guaranteeing a blown 2.2L engine soon. I AM just lucky like that!
