    Not sure on brand, yes it was new 4 years ago. I couldn't see the tail because it had some material packed around the coil, filling up the cavity. I dug it out, was like a powder and came out easy, that's when I saw the tail. Could have felt it if I would have been looking for this issue.

    Got a new one from NAPA and it is not packed with the material around the coil, just open to the air.
