47V6, believe me, once you have experienced it, you will know what the snowball effect is and usually it is NOT enjoyable.

 

I don't know Don. I think you are going to have to run each wire more than half way. Heeheeehee. With all this work you are doing you'll have no excuse for not coming on the Rubicon trip next year.

 

You could just take a BFH to the gas tank where you need some clearance, as long as it doesn't pop a seam. That's the only thing I could think of other then what was mentioned.

Do you have a lift kit installed on your jeep? I have a '62 CJ-5 with a T-98 and a 2.5" lift, and the angle of my driveshaft is much larger than what is shown in your picture. I am just wondering if this is the reason for the angle difference. The PO put the lift kit in before I got the jeep, so I don't know exactly what was done to achieve the lift.

 

No, no lift kit that I know of... this is my first jeep I have ever owned.
