cj5 under seat floor pans?

I've just gotten under way with a cj5 restoration. The under seat floor pans will need to be replaced on both sides. Is there a particular vendor that sells these pans that anyone is familiar with? I've seen the ones in JC Whitney and was wondering how well they would fit.

Howdy from W. MI....welcome to the site.

I'd recommend dumping that JCW catalog in the closest circular file...they don't sell anything you can't get cheaper and quicker other places.

On the floors...there's been a number of posts on them...try a search on "replacement floors".

Thanks for the replies guys. I will be dumping the JCW. I plan to post pics of the project when I have a chance. I got the Jeep from my Dad. When you see how rough it is, you will probably say "Junk it". Thanks again.

Gotta agree with Mcruff on this one. Everything I've purchased from Classic Enterprises has been top notch. They are working on oem quality Willys Stamped panels and tailgates now too with an agreement from DC. Nickmil.

Doesn't everybody sell MD Juan parts? In that case, I'd think its best to get them from to closest source.

You'd be very happy with Classic Enterprise panals. They look just like original. You can even make them work for M38a1's. I used them on mine. ;)

I needed a replacement sheet metal panel and I went to a small sheet metal shop that does flashings and A/C ductwork for homebuilders. They can fabricate just about anything I needed. I used a manila file folder and cut out a template of the exact size of what I needed, and put the bends in it where they were needed.

I paid cash, not a check, and I think the guy did it on his lunch break..... All of $5.00 worth.

If you have a local shop like one of these, you might give it a try.
