Anyone know the minimum rotor thickness for 76-78 big brake rotor? Thanks!

It should be stamped into the outside edge of the rotor.

    nickmil In mothballs.

1.120" minimum refinish thickness, 1.119" discard thickness. Maximum lateral runout .005", maximum parallelism .005".

Well they measured 1.149 my guy thought it was a gamble if they would turn with the amount of rust on them. Rock auto here I come! _(again...)

1.149"? That seems odd. Because as far as I know, brand new, they're 1.125" thick....

These are the 76-78 " big brake" rotors. Later ones are thinner.

Aye. I know. I have them on my '70 after converting it. Looks like calling them 1 1/8" thick is just a "nomenclature" thing. I just checked mine and they're actually closer to 1.170 or so.
