Used in a '77 Buick Skylark with a 231.

That plus a 1/4" or 3/8" spacer for the fan may be enough clearance.

Bringing this back up.

Have a question, does anyone have a picture of where their rotor is point when at 0*TDC? I can't get it even close to 6-9*BTDC.

I've tried pulling it out and rotating one tooth, of course i could be going the wrong way...I have been known to do that before.

 

At an idle it is running at about 12 btdc. In a 198, little bit more surgery then grinding on the intake.
