Varg In Jeep's Clothing

Imagine a giant run big enough to have multiple drips with a fat horizontal line at the top of the drips that’s a curtain. If it has a curtain it’s got plenty o paint.

 

The grey line upper left is a curtain wannabe I stopped painting and wet sanded the whole truck glass smooth before respraying. Just above the body line is a baby curtain. Having multiple heads.

 

Just don’t give up same truck after take two. Practice makes you better.

 

I hope you guys aren’t expecting that type of finish on this thing; you’ll be gravely disappointed. Well done Jeff!

 

I like to load up the paint a bit too much sometimes.. Load it on until its just heavy enough and hope your reducer flashes out fast enough to keep it from rolling off..Sometimes you win and sometimes you sand. I won't ever make a nice car painter like Jeff, but I sure am a good tool and fixture painter!

 

I paint on the edge and do my fair share of redoing the finish. A razor blade held at a 90 to the panel and running parallel to the run on cured paint often will flatten them enough to buff out. I don’t buff I reshoot for the finish but that’s another argument.
