Floor version 2.0 is better than version 1.0.
I’m making the split bridge the shifters, so no shifter removal will be necessary to remove the floors. That bothered me about the first design, but I was too lazy to change it without good reason.

At the junction, I welded tabs to the left plate and drilled little pilot holes in the right plate.

I picked up my pile-o-parts from the powder coater today. VERY pleased. These were the Jeep parts I snuck in. The console and air box parts.

I was having Jeep withdrawals. It was either go down to the shop this morning and work on the Jeep, or stain base molding. Duh.

I shot a time lapse of the floor pattern process.

 

Even the cardboard looks good. Spray the cardboard with aluminum paint and call it good!
