My Jeep is being taken apart for painting and I am going to be wet sanding it shortly. However, I would like to replace my tailgate with one stamped "Willy's" to get it "closer" to original.

The question is who makes the best replacement tailgate marked Willy's for the best $$$.

    Thanks

    Kevin

I think Krage sell for around 120.00. But that seems low and was wondering on quality.

AFAIK it's only one supplier unless you buy an original.

So quality will be the same no matter the price if new.

4WD Hardware also has them I know.

    Krage!

You may want to add a bar across the top to stiffin it......I heard they are kinda flimsy without it

    nickmil In mothballs.

Classic Enterprises is working on OEM quality replacements along with WILLYS stamped panels with a licensing agreement with DC. At least according to their web site. Might contact them for more info.......

Just an update on Classic Enterprises. According to them they had some projects that set them behind and do not have a time frame established for Willy replacement panels.
