Ha ha! Actually for years now I couldn't figure out a way to hook up a PTO winch on My 3B with my saggy conversion. I also can't run a rear gear box with my tire rack which has kept me up many nights! [IMG] Don't worry I compensated by having a twin stick PTO running a winch on front and a gear box on the rear with the adapter and an Overdrive on my 2A. And plenty more PTO stuff left for my CJ6 project I'm doing.

Years back we were doing post padding and we conversed, you mentioned hydrauilc winches. Is that still an option for you?

I haven't messed with a hydraulic winch yet, had enough problems getting around to my PTO setups. Is amazing how much some of the hydraulic ones do look like the old Ramsey PTO ones.

I don't know about Ramseys. My brother and a friend own some. The 2 PTOs of mine are Koenig and I have an old Bellvue Warn.
I've gone to the Koenig site, same winches as 60 years ago, just with a hydraulic motor on it.

That's because they're a standard Ramsey PTO winch with a Hydraulic motor bolted onto them-

You can also get electric versions too.
