New (to me) purchase for my son's first ride: 1994 YJ with the 4.0, 32RH/ NP231 combo. Hard top, AC and ZERO rust were a plus. Previous owner intalled a Skyjacker suspension and two inch body lift to fit 33x12.5x15 BFG AT's. Eventually I'll go to an 8" wide wheel to help tuck the tires in a bit, along with verifying correct back spacing. Yesterday, I installed a cat back exhaust with mandrel bent 2-1/4 pipe and a 50 series Flowmaster.... nice exhaust note outside, quiet to the passengers. Worked very well this past weekend at Hatteras! [IMG] [IMG]

Thanks... Think I made a mistake on trans ID. Below are the model year break down, which would make mine the 32RH three speed. **original post updated**
32RH: The 32RH three speed automatic transmission was used in 1992 to 1995 Wrangler with 4.0L engine and it continues to be used in 1997-2002 Wrangler with 4.0L engine.
30RH: The 30RH three speed automatic transmission was used in 1992 to 1995 Wrangler & 1992 to 1996 Cherokee with 2.5L engine.
AW4: The AW4 four speed automatic transmission was used in 1987 to 2001 Jeep Cherokee (XJ), & Jeep Comanche with 2.5L & 4.0L engines. The AW4 was also used in 1987 through 1992 Jeep Comanche & 1993 through 1993.5 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 4.0L engines.

I used to live in Chesapeake Va when I was in the Navy ( CT1) at the NavComsta Northwest down on the border between Va and NC. I rented a duplex on Hurdle Drive back when it was new. The Navy and I parted ways in '72. One of the best things I ever did was to enlist in the Nav. They treated me right, but when it was time to go it was time to go.

I never regret joining and I never regret leaving at the end of the enlistment.
