New Jeep! My 48 CJ2A

    No, these came with rubber boots, which I chose not to install. I keep meaning to pull these off and paint them black. They're the shocks that came with the Superlift springs.

    I had a conversation with my brother this afternoon about what our old Jeeps would be like on the road. He said Nahhhh. I said that I did three trips from here to Moab and back in the 3B and back under it's own power.

    After looking at your son's recent paint job post...Did I miss where you painted your 2A? Any shots of your paint booth...Looking for ideas on how/where to paint mine. A list of equip would be nice too.

    Very sharp! I'd wheel it.

    Re the driveway, IME it works pretty well as a paint booth as long as you don't have bugs or dust. Plenty of light.

    No bugs, no dirt. I'm amazed at how clean it came out. This thing actually looks as good in person as it does in pics. :) For the most part.

    Did you have to heat the ring gear up to get it on? I have never done one, but was told that its required.

    Still going strong, although it sometimes sits for a couple weeks at a time. My wife and I took it to Colorado in October.
