Did I Have A Rare Dash ????????

    I had on my 55 cj a rare dash or what, it had the speedo cut right over the steering colume right dead center.I have pics of it but not dig,Has anyone ever seen one ? It had a lot of xtra p/o holes in so i thew it out.What a idiot i cant belive i did that.I will see if i can them scanned.

    Duke, wasn't yours one of the old Zamboni Jeeps? Or am I thinking of one of the other white jeeps around here? Maybe that had something to do with it.

    Did it have the 4 studs for mounting the speedo spot welded in?

    Yes it did even the wires to ignition are longer im still useing that harness.

    I seem to remember some models of DJ's were like that. Can't remember specific models though.......

    DJ = 2WD Jeep.

    You're probably thinking of Tonka, he used to be a Zamboni. He's a fairly early 55 (sn 378) & has the standard dash.
