I am resurrecting this after 8 years lol. What paint did you end up using?

Aidan, my Jeep is not a Tux Park, but I did want Indian Ceramic. I ended up with Ford Fiesta Red, PPG 70618. This was the red color on '55 T-bird.

This was recommended by the PPG folks after they researched the Jeep Color.

The white grill and wheels are Glacier White.

How close is it to the original Indian Ceramic? Does it have that pinkish-orange look?

I can't answer your question, as I don't have an original sample of the Indian Ceramic. Color is a tricky thing when comparing by photos. It also looks different in the sun.

Here is a pic of the floor board. Not a sun pic. took this when I was mounting the steps.

It is more Salmon color when compared to President Red.

If you go to the paint store maybe they can find a chip of the Fiesta Red for you to compare. I don't know when but at some point I have to do some touchup on my Jeep. When I do I can spray you a sample. When are you going to be ready to paint?

I'm not entirely sure. Currently my tub is off and in storage. I'm facing the mental battle of trying to decide if I should buy a remanufactured one. For now though, I'm focusing on cleaning up the frame so I have time.

I hate that battle. It still goes on in my head every weekend while I keep working on my tub (which I should have replaced)

I think I'll go with a replacement. As much as I want the original, it's going to be so expensive
