Jeep Horn

    Has anyone installed a 6 Volt Jeep horn on a 12 volt system? If you have, did you put a resistor in series with it, or?

    nickmil In mothballs.

    You will need a resistor or you will burn it out fairly quickly. It will be loud and high pitched for a short time though.
