    Did this today:

The frame seemed to be extremely solid with little surface rust. I pulled what was remaining of the wiring. Looks like its time for a sidegrinder with wire brush!

I vote for sand blaster...good looking trailer to start with.

  3. Going to pull the frame up to school in the morning. We have a seemingly endless supply of students who enjoy using grinders with wire wheels. So who am I to deprive them of this fun? I'll post pics as there is progress.

Ahh, free labor. Can't argue with that. Make sure to tell them it's going into a museum so it has to be perfect. ;)

  5. Got the frame painted, fenders painted, ready to start on the tub. More importantly, Today, I got the trailer tagged and titled!

Ha ha. Good for you. Makes me want to drop off my project at the local highschool and let them have at it.

  9. Nice day this afternoon so I got the Tub on a set of saw hoarses. With the help of a pair of vice grips, and penetrating oil, I was able to remove the reflectors, and the "buckets" that hold the spring loaded rubber stoppers. After some time with a wire brush on the bench grinder, I think I'm close to getting ready to tackle the body work on the tub. Nothing really to post pics of yet.
