windshield question

    Another question on my 60 CJ-5 is this...

    I have read that all the windshield frames were black. I this correct? My 60 was on off-frame restore, and the frame was painted to match the body. It wouldnt take much to take off the frame and have it re-done in black, but was just wondering if this was correct?

    P.s. I wont be going 100% original, but some small things i kind of like since it is so close... So dont be hatin if you read my post about going to an alternator! Thanks to all you guys for your input!

    Then I am going to do it. But I am going to wait till winter when i wont be driving the heep much and it will be sitting in the garage. I have some wiper problems to deal with, so that would be a good time to do em all.

    If I were you, I'd paint my wheels antique white, and my windshield frame black.:D

    Really? Wow. I didn't know that. I'm guessing it was the same with the '61? I guess I may need to rethink painting it with the tub. (maybe)
