I just checked the numbers on my carburetor that came with my Renegade II with California smog. The number it self is cast into the fuel bowl on the bottom. One would have to remove the carburetor to read it. And I can not find it's number anywhere on the web. 7027140

I spent a spell looking in my Rochester book, there was no 7027140 listed ,there was a 7027139 listed for a 1967 Olds with a 425 V-8 2GC

The next number listed was 7027146 on a 1967 Buick, but that is a 4mv.

Carb. numbers were on a tag, under one of the screws that that hold the top of the carb on.....

In case I missed it in the thread.

Can some take a picture of where your finding the numbers off your carb? Mine doesn't have a tag, and when I pulled it a few weeks ago I didn't see any numbering anywhere on it. Maybe I need to take a closer look.

Look under where the fuel line goes into the carb.

Found it. Mine is #7027082 which appears original for the 67. I'm somewhat surprised, seems like I got lucky to have an original Rochester (y)
