Steering bell crank ?

    I got my rebuild kit today from Krage. It's the one I ordered, the 1 1/8" shaft. The shaft on my Jeep is only 7/8" where it clamps into the frame bracket, and the old shaft (I actually have 3 spares, too) has a sleeve thats 1 1/8" OD where the bearings ride. The 7/8" rebuild kits don't show this sleeve, only the 7/8" shaft. The new shaft is 1 1/8" the whole length, so it won't fit in the frame bracket. Does the 7/8" kit come with the 1 1/8" OD sleeve?

    Edit- the 7/8" kit does show the sleeve, part #920556, but it's listed for 4 cyl models......

    Sounds like you got the wrong part. Spares are a good thing. I broke one out on the trail and was royally screwed.

    Yup, it was the wrong one. It's on it's way back, and the proper one is coming. Oh, I got spares, like 3 or 4. Just none in great shape.........
