Just went to pick up my seats from the upholstery shop. The back seat looks great

But.......I think he got lazy when he went to do the front seats.

Why he didn't run the piping down the bottom edge, I will never know. I guess the stitching over the ripples makes it look better????? I could have drapped a piece of material and stapled it to the bottom myself. Needless to say, I told him to fix it. That looks like SH*%!

Yea,...tried to go conservative. I didn't want black because I know it would be very hot in the summer, plus...everybody has black seats...lol

    I would take them back...
if its an inside seam I dont think it would bother me as much..
but without doors that all your going to see

OH, I never took them home. That's what I told the guy. 90% of what you see will be the bottoms because they show through the doors

I'm gonna agree with you, he took the time to do it right on teh rear seat and got lazy on the fronts.

I wonder if two different people did them and did not look at each others work.

I thing bike5200 is correct 2 different people , ,,,,,, but ,, just thowing this out there ,,,,,the fronts will see far more use in and out , in that exact spot ,,maybe it's a good thing not to have a seam there just another place for it to tear and wear.?I think that would be the weak point ?

Well, thats what he said, but I can always get it redone again. I think he got lazy because he didn't want to cut new foam for the driver's seat. It was pretty messed up. The passenger was still good. I figure he had to make them match so he did that folded sewn corner crap on both of them.

BTW....my jeep isn't painted yet...but i'm going with a newer color. No worries though, it's still a jeep color. Light Khaki Metallic. They came on the Rubicon wranglers and Commanders a couple years ago

I live next door to an upholstery shop, he would have never done that. Good call on asking for them to be fixed. Piping can be replaced fairly easily if it starts to wear.

the fronts look more like boat seats than CJ seats. Back looks good. Like the colors!
