Higher diff fillers

    Guys, any suggestions as to whats a good diff cover to buy that has a higher filler? running a D44 with SOA and looking to get more oil in it due to the down angle.

    Front from a high pinion Ford 44. It has the filler above the centerline of the axle. Most of the aftermarket extra-strength 44 covers (Riddler, ARB, Solid, etc.) also have this provision.

    If it's a HD cover it would be worth while to raise the filler.

    just get a plug and find a nut with the proper threads drill a hole and weld it on where you want it

    I put a Blazer front cover on my rear 44. It is WAY stronger and has a higher fill spot.

    The heavy duty high filler stock covers are on ebay all the time. pretty cheap too.
