I assume this speedometer is probably incorrect for a 1970. Can anyone ID what it belongs to? Maybe an intermediate?

Yes, looks post-72 pre-76 to me from the best of my recollection.

'71 still has the familiar 0-9 speedometer.

Thanks Sparky, that's what I thought.

Does it have a black or chrome bezel? It's hard to tell from the picture. Looks black... but you may have painted it. A '73 has a chrome bezel, and I believe all speedometers after that are chrome.

It does have a black bezel, but it may have been painted. So did the '72's look like this with a black bezel and then '73-'75 like this with a chrome bezel? Just curious at this point.

Yes, the '73 had chrome bezels and a new style of heater controls. I would guess it's from a '72, but possibly from a year or two earlier. The 'BRAKE' warning light requires a dual system to function, so it has to be '67 or later.

Or, 68 or later. We have two 67's, both have/ had single brake systems. Just saying.
