Factory Tools ?

    Did the jeeps come from the factory with a tool kit ?:tea:

    Only a jack and a lug wrench, AFAIK.

    Let's expound on the idea 8 years later. Same question, any new info?

    Info seems to be slim on the subject. Willys Jeep Parts says:

    "What to take along" has been a popular topic with Jeepers forever. In all those discussions, I have never heard of a factory tool kit. Maybe right after WWII?

    Most dead-on-roadside problems relate to fuel, spark or tires. Trail failures include that plus breakage. You could change spark plugs and points with this kit. The pliers and adjustable wrench are quite general in purpose. The hammer? Not sure how useful that will be.

    X2. My dad bought the '64 Tux new, and it only had a jack and lugwrench.
