Original color for seat frames

    ...on the '53 3B, that is, or just any flattie. Were they a gloss or flat color, just plain black or were they always matched with the factory body color (mine were Woodstock Green)? I'm thinking of maybe going with a flat OD green, or of course the Woodstock Green, but was wondering about the original color. TIA :)

    I also just redid mine. Before I reinstall I wanted to replace the rubber end caps, but have no idea where to get em. Can I ask where you found yours? Thanks

    I think you can use cane tips, from a drug store.

    I got 1" rubber cane tips and some washers that would go inside them
    Got every thing at my True Value hardware store for less than $2.00

    my 53 3b had olive drab seat frames, I painted them black though.

    What type of fabric did you use? I'm looking for the pinstripe insert fabric for my 1970 Renegade 1
