My wife's turn. She drove the '71 for the first time last night and she chauffeured the family drive in the '69 tonight:

She likes the Jeeps a lot better than my old hot-rod Mustang.

I have tried many times to ride in one of mine listed below. She doesn't like "no doors" and thinks they don't ride very smooth.

Man, that's the way to go. Some of my most memorable jeep trips were just simple wander about , stop and enjoy the view, pick and eat wild black berries, blue berries, and muscadines where we found them. There was always a fishing rod and frying pan on board so we would often catch a couple of trout and cook them for lunch. We could sometimes be caught taking an afternoon siesta along side some creek or waterfall. I often reflect on those days with my older brother, our friends and a hound dog named ''Loophole''. Ah, the good times, not a care in the world. Sometimes I wish we could relive those days but all things have a season. We live in the hope that the next one will be even better. Jim

Bah, I meant to post the wiring update in my build thread.

Moved it there, but I completely agree. The bigger glove box is awesome. I have one in the '71 already.

Whoohoo! The fields are farmed and I can drive all over the property again.

Some side hill action while running the dogs:

Took the '69 out for a Sunset drive tonight:

Not for a while, but I'll get to the CJ2 eventually.

I'm glad I'll inherit that someday but hopefully it's a long ways off.
