Weird, they were showing up on my computer and phone when I viewed the page, logged in or not. I edited the way they are posted, we'll see if you can see them now.

Ok, I guess none of the pictures I've posted have been viewable since my settings were private. Didn't know to even look for that. Hopefully that worked.

I finally finished my 1952 Willys M38a1 and got it on the road. Hopefully going to first parade this weekend for the local Christmas parade. It has really got me motivated to finally get going on the Tuxedo Park Jeep. So I am going to start on it next week. These Jeeps are so much easier to drive that the flat fender models a lot more room inside and easier to get in and out of . any way this Jeep is not all military as I changed it over to 12 volts put in a toyota starter and a one wire alternator . I did keep the military switches and made them function as original. Best thing I did was to Raptor line the inside and color matched it to the Strata Blue Air Force paint. I just wanted something different that the green ones and this blue looks great and the paint was about $40.00 per gallon and it has held up pretty well. Any way just thought i would post a few pictures. I still have a few more things to do to like top bows and some other missing accessories but it is a great start.

I like that M38A1. It looks good and very drive-able.
A couple of questions come to mind:
How long have you worked on this? As one who has been working on one in my "spare" time for the past 10 years,
    congratulations!

The Raptor lining looks good and should prove to be very functional.

    Where are you located?
We will look to see this beauty driving around.

    Looking good.

My M38A1 was the same color blue when I got it. It was originally OD, but had been surplus-ed to the Civil Air Patrol.

I have been working on it off and on for 4 years. Thought I was finished working on it for a while until the head gasket let go today before the parade. I live in Church Hill, TN which is in North East Tennessee. I wanted the Jeep to be a driver and still have a few things left to do. Spent nearly all day working on the head and the cooling system.

Well that sucks samned. I guess it’s better than letting go in the parade though. Good luck on getting it fixed quickly.
