    Well I guess I unintentionally stirred up a contentious hijack. My comment was just that Jeeps look better with the windshield down.
    As for actual practice, the only time the w/s is up on my CJ6 is when I'm on public roads (very seldom) or when I need to open the hood (very often).
    So, hijack over. Back to Show Us Your Jeep.

    HAHA ALL GOOD! I just put the top back on anyway because of the rain here in LA.

    I'll get us started again with a couple more photos of my jeep with the top on.

    At a classic car "meet up" I went to the other day. I was the ONLY vehicle that showed up. :rofl:Probably because it was "cold" out.

    haha yep! and I'm still driving around with no doors and a windshield seal so bad my legs get wet (y)

    1956 CJ5 with lengthened frame, CJ7 front fenders and hood. Coil springs front and rear with Land Rover Disc Brake axles. 5.0 Ford roller motor with NP435 trans and Rover LT23 Transfer case.

    I went for a quick trip to a friends. I hit the Freeway for just 2 tenths of a mile form on ramp to off ramp.
    The little 5.0L Ford Roller motor was just humming along.
