Did I really see this listed for sale on craigslist after all of the work you have done? You are almost there don't quit on me now.

Thanks to everyone who has keep posting despite the lack of updates.

It has been for sale for awhile but I have decided to keep working on it. I just ordered a starter solenoid and am going to tackle the wiring and radiator this weekend. I'd like to finish it but space/time/money are at a premium. I know I'll regret it if i sell it.

    Small update.

Solenoid arrived yesterday. Wired it uptonight and got the engine turning over. Need to clean up some wiring this weekend and check for spark and then prime it to see if it will fire. My fingers are crossed. Still need to install the grill, rad, hoses and order an exhaust.

You'll definatley regret it if you sell it!! At least keep it long enough to drive it around and enjoy it for a while.

Some updated pics. Currently dealing with spark issues. No spark from the coil. Progress has been very slow lately.

Well with the help of my father in law we got it running tonight. I added a new Toyota starter and battery and played around with the timing the past few days. Got it started and now I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Still needs exhuaust, seats, fenders, lights wired and gas tank hooked up. Hopefully I'll be on the road in a couple of months.

Hey, I have a 1965 CJ5 project just starting as well. It was supposed to start sooner but life happens. I'm tearing it down and rebuilding mine as well but with toyota mechanicals. I will keep looking at yours as reference, good job.

I have pretty much left everything stock. This thing will see very mild off road use and will mostly just be a playtoy for me.

Started cleaning the gas tank this week. It's pretty nasty inside so hopefully I can get it cleaned out and then use dual sediment filters to keep the gas clean. Also started building my tube fenders tonight. Hopefully I'll have some pics this weekend.

Small update. The jeep starts and idles nicely. In the past 2 or 3 weeks I have bought a new battery, new toyota starter, new fuel pump and new brake lines. So now I have a running jeep. Progress sure makes you feel better about these things. :)
