Mike your doing an AWESOME job on that Jeep!! Out of curiosity, what size is that shed your doing that work in?

    Kman,
Disassembly and the dirty work was mostly done in a 12 x 16 shed and reassembly is being done in the 2 car attached garage.

    Thanks for the kudos.

    Lookin' good.

There is a forum member here named Toolbox that has his own 1960 Oldsmobile restoration site. He did a great writeup on restoring his steering wheel that would apply well to the JEEP spoke wheel as well. Toolbox did his out of necessity, although as JEEP owners we have reproductions readily available to us, but you might still be interested in checking it out:

    Thanks Clint.
I have been keeping an eye out for a better used one but the resto looks like it might be a fun project.

Thats a nice color you went with. Are you repairing the fenders or getting replacements?

Still up in the air on the fenders. I don't have any for it so I am considering piking up some later CJ fenders and cutting them down to size and filling in the turn signal indent.

    Duke54,
A new tub would have been the easy way out. :)

    Update:

Started to redo the wiring tonight. I am basically going wire by wire and replacing what is bad and keeping what is good. So far the original harness is in pretty good shape. Need to buy a starter solenoid, ignition switch and a voltage regulator. I'll try to get some pics as I progress.
