   I'm finally ready to attach my V8 emblems. What adhesive is a good one? I will cry if they fly off on the freeway! Paint is new.

   Go to FLAPs and ask for some 3M double-sided trim tape. It ain't cheap (~$30 a roll, IIRC) but it's the good stuff...

   Back in the days before the tape, 3M sold an adhesive just for this job. Any autobody supply shop should have it on the shelf. Just make sure you have the emblem in EXACTLY the right spot!
